Wine of the Week— Frédéric Lornet Crémant du Jura Rosé Brut NV
07.12.20 0 Comments
The Frédéric Lornet Crémant du Jura Rosé Brut NV is from Jura, the smallest wine region in France, sandwiched between Switzerland and Burgundy. The wine is produced from 95% Ploussard (rare Jurassic grape) and 5% Pinot Noir. The finest of bubbles because it is made using the Traditional Method (the same as that used in making Champagne where a second fermentation in the bottle produces the finest bubbles). Only 4,000 produced each year by this producer so this wine is rare even in France.
